^ Yes, probably. 181 career handballs and just 133 career kicks in 11 games against Footscray. |

Adding to comments on Treloar I am watching Seven News which showed the lad training
Running in a straight line like nothing wrong but with his history what is to stop opponents where situation arises for a little nudge like Tay received to extend the leg as he falls
Give him what ever time necessary to get fully recovered _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

Look just about every AFL player carries a niggle or two into each game they play. As much as I like the sincere opinions on this forum, I prefer to let the club experts and the player make the call whether to play or not. Most of the time, they know best. _________________ Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. A niggle is one thing. A hamstring injury when you missed 3 months with double hammies is another. It's risk vs reward

Don't be silly. Everyone knows the coaching staff read Nick's and make their decisions based on what we post _________________ https://forever.collingwoodfc.com.au/sav-sinks-the-dockers/ |

Pendles sent home this morning to isolate til results come in "later today". That could be pretty soon......? _________________ I'm not the pheasant plucker I'm the pheasant plucker's son, and I'll be plucking pheasants til the pheasant plucker comes! Delayed/shortened season. Good for our injuries or makes management harder? |

COLLINGWOOD
Matt Scharenberg - Hip (Available)
Taylor Adams - Hip (Available)
Jaidyn Stephenson - Hand (Available)
Ben Reid - Ankle (TEST)
Scott Pendlebury - Illness (TEST)
Adam Treloar - Hamstring (1-2 weeks)
Travis Varcoe - Shoulder (4 weeks)
Lynden Dunn - Knee (4-6 weeks)
Levi Greenwood - Knee (15-20 weeks)
Dayne Beams - Mental health (Indefinite)
Tom Langdon - Knee (Indefinite)
Quote: | Pendlebury is odds-on to lead the Magpies in the round one clash with the Western Bulldogs on Friday after tests cleared him of the coronavirus. Adams pulled up sore in the final hitout in the Marsh Community Series against St Kilda and Stephenson suffered a bruised left hand in a VFL practice match on Saturday but the club says both will be available for selection. Treloar will miss at least the season-opener and Reid could also be in doubt. Scharenberg came off second-best in a marking contest at training on Friday but escaped with a bruised left hip that wouldn't stop him from playing in the off-chance he received a call-up. Varcoe is close to rejoining the main group after a shoulder reconstruction and Langdon is back running, albeit very lightly, as he deals with a potentially career-threatening knee issue. Greenwood seems determined to smash the traditional 12-month recovery timeframe for a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament, while the Woods will also be conservative with Dunn in his bid to return from a second knee reconstruction. Meanwhile, Beams is reportedly set to retire. - Ben Collins
The full AFL injury list: round one - http://www.afl.com.au/news/384197 |
No mention of Isaac Quaynor (Hip) or Flynn Appleby (Ankle) who were both listed as 1-2 weeks a week ago. Assuming both are available then?
Tim Broomhead (Leg) was also listed as 2-4 weeks, but now not mentioned on this weeks list. Strange.
With some luck we'll only have Greenwood, Langdon and Beams on the list by the time we've played Port in round 5. Imagine how nice to only have three names on our injury list!! _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned!
