Richmond don’t scare me really
There a slower side and there lazy
There win and draw have flattered them they could ache easily be 0-2
There dependant so dependant on 6 players it can unravel very quick
Lynch can’t kick goals when the ball doesn’t go inside there 50m so there’s the challenge
Win it at the coal face send it deep and pressure them to death |

Short ruled out, Dusty and Hopper will play hurt if they get picked.
Hopper will be a huge loss if tigers have to go against the new contested ball kings without him. _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

I love our duel ruck combo of Cox and Cameron. Both complement and support each other in terms of conserving energy. Both contribute in many ways when on the field other than simply rucking. They had all of last year virtually to learn how to play together, and our coaches during the off-season have clearly gone to work in honing and refining the co-ordination between our mids and rucks. The evidence is in the incredible improvement of our clearance rate compared with last year. No doubt, alot of this is due to the presence of Mitchell, but also I think the ruckwork of both Cox and Cameron is either going to our advantage or at least giving us a 50-50 opportunity very frequently. _________________ Free Julian Assange!!

12 A-grade players? you might disagree |

i must admit, apart from his first kick of the season, he has been very, very good. I think he has the confidence that he now belongs here. |

Reckon the Tigers very much now live off their reputation of three yrs ago, they still like to flaunt their the same big powerhouse club, 3 flags etc. But time has moved on, Dimma has been there too long now, was appointed pre Bucks, Dusty is a shadow of himself now, beyond that dont argue crap hed do. Cotchin is cooked, even their own fans say that as is sook Riewolt. Their rucks are dire, their back six not all that great, and were it not for Lynch and Bolta, theyd be a run of the mill team. By all rights , we should belt the living shit out of them, by ten goals, hopefully, and I really hope we can, just have to wait and see. We should beat them pretty well though. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

The tigers will be very nervous about this game, with good cause...I sense a big win on the big stage coming up _________________ "You hate a mean man, a grasping man, a man who wants everything and gives nothing. That’s Collingwood. They are a law unto themselves"

12 A-grade players? you might disagree | I have absolute respect for these guys but Sidey, Adams and Mihocek are not A graders. Otherwise the others are hard to argue with _________________ "You must be a parking ticket, cuz you got fine written all over you" Glen Quagmire |

Sidey and Adams at their very best are A graders. I love the way Mihocek always gives of his best but I keep wavering as to whether he is an A grader. _________________ I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. Top end of B, I’d have thought. Any other team would want him, but not on more than 450k a year. |

Agree with all of this. Don’t really care but they over rated where they were at last year. Should have thanked Riewoldt and Cotchin for their services. Getting Hopper and Taranto is fine, but the 7 year deals are ridiculous. They’ve had their time and their trend is down in my view and those deals will be an albatross around their neck in 2/3 years time when they’re 6-12 on the ladder. When I hear him talk I wonder if Hardwick was the true brains of the outfit or if it was in fact the assistants during their run. He doesn’t strike me as desperate for another flag.
As I said previously, if we’re serious this year we need to be comprehensive against teams like this. _________________ It's never as good/nor bad as it seems... |
