Pendlebury, Sidebottom, Cox, and Howe are all wait and sees. Mihocek should get a 1-2 year deal. Crisp resigns. Noble likely too although if he gets overtaken he could be in trouble. Johnson and Carmichael have showed the most for me out of the rest, and are the most likely to earn new deals. In order, these players are the most likely to earn a new contract out of the rest imo.
Harrison
Draper
Ruscoe
Begg
Bianco
Kelly
Murley
Wilson
All of these players have a full pre-season and regular season to prove to the list management that they belong on our list for 2024 and beyond.
If we say 2 of the 4 older players retire, then we probably need at least 3 more players to be delisted. I can see us having some cap space too as our older players should be taking less, our players we resign should already be on decent money, and should get similar, their are no young players that are looking like they r elite (could change), and the cap will rise again for the 2024 season. _________________ "That was out-of-bounds" |

Although I've been a fan, I'd say that WHE also needs a good year to get a contract extension beyond 2023. |

He is locked up until the end of 2024. I would say we let him go after that unless he gives us similar input to 2022 over the next 2 years. _________________ "That was out-of-bounds" |

It looked like WHE found his role in 2022 and is a player that will be ready to slot in whenever we need him.
WHE has always had the talent and I reckon he is at the right maturity right now.

Trent Bianco not only knew what to do on Anzac Day -he also kicked a goal in last 10 minutes of PF that started our surge
Those things OK but needs more to his game. Give him time _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

I wouldn't have thought so, definitely not McInnes. He'll be a star. _________________ Billy Picken, the great No. 25 in the sky! |

Too early for Carmicheal to make these assessments.
i would say Kelly Ruscoe and Bianco last chance
Along with the likes of Wilson and potentally Hoskin E
Still think Cox as well if we pick up that much awaited spearhead and key position player in the 2023 trade draft period.
If we get our man the its a case of farewell Cox.
Apart from that all ok like they ok kind of safe for now. |
