198cm key defender and is already 23 years old. We took Charlie Dean last year who is 195cm.

Are our key defensive stocks that low?

With those stated attibutes and clearly capable player, have to wonder if it was a character call? Maybe he'll get picked up via the pre-season draft.

Post being de-listed by the Hawks I see Jackson Callow also wasn't picked up. In his draft year, the prospect of bringing in a 194cm, 96kg 18-year-old forward with sure hands had me calling him as a candidate to cure our key forward woes. Ended up playing 3 senior games 0 goals, 20 VFL games 23 goals.
Was a clear dent to my recruiter credentials...
