How much do VFL players get paid? I'd have thought he'd get better money playing in suburban league where he'd be a 100 goal full forward.

NAB AFL Pre-Season Draft (3pm, online).
NAB AFL Rookie Draft (3.20pm, online).
I'm not overly interested in anyone that wasn't drafted tonight. Maybe Gilbey?
I think we'll have 2 rookie selections, with one already being allocated to Cooper Murley.
So what'll be the plan with that extra spot on the list?

I’m also big on saving that spot for the MSD because that offers you six more months of exposed form available to review. BUT we need to also remember the MSD would open up to us anyway if we were to have any medium / long term injury on our list in the middle of the season. On face value, that’s a likely outcome.
If they believe in a player who’s still available in todays drafts, then they need to pull the trigger. And while I don’t wish injury on any player, an eight week injury to a lesser light around the middle of the year may yet prove to be the perfect outcome for us. |
