yep save 1 for supplemental selection / mid season draft

given Ed Allen was a surprise to be there when he was, still getting Ryan and we were always getting Richards, so being able to effectively get a second round pick for next year for free is a great outcome

all looks good on paper now lets get going!

Playing Country/Local Footy so Opposition was far away from AFL Level

I reckon the recruiters know what they’re doing. He’s playing in a tough league so I reckon we might have a ripper here. Of course there are no guarantees even with a top draft pick but he seems impressive to me.

Right...so we drafted a half back flanker, a midfielder/winger with back issues...and a mature recruit...who also plays midfield....

Did a Key position forward root Hine's mum or something?

I thought I read that next years draft is talent laden so getting the second round pick if that’s what’s occurred is good forward planning.

You'd have to be a magician to work out who will be in our best 22 at Round 1 (a seer to see Round 5).

Hate the Richards Pick

Could you please expand the reasons for this Dave? I would love to know why.

It’s quite ridiculous isn’t it. Not even a ruckman. We have 2 in the club, one in his last year. They just don’t rate big guys.

Who's there though? Keeler and Lemmey are two we've passed on this year.

Well my thoughts on Lemmey have been clear, well worth a shot and we could have got Richards...well, I reckon we could have got him as a rookie to be frank

Collingwood Pass.

We have an extra rookie selection now. Or a spot for a Delisted signing later tonight.

We obviously dont rate them. We have taken key forwards in the past who didnt end up playing at all.
