| Complete shock. I would have liked Ryan. Weddle would have been a good selection if the Hawks hadn’t beaten us to him. We need key defenders, key forwards and a ruckman. Mids we have plenty of. Typical Hine pick choosing on potential rather than form. How many times have we come unstuck choosing players on potential? |

If it wasn't for his draft combine results would Allan be in the conversation at this point?
First West Australian ever selected in the 1st round by Hine at the national draft.
