Post subject: Trade Period over, now what? (5 List Spots Available) | |
|
We now hold picks 16, 25, 27 and 51, with pick trading still to come in the coming weeks. The draft is on the 28th of November. And the Pre-Season Draft AND NAB AFL Rookie Draft on the 30th of November.
There is currently now 2 list spots to fill. Along with 1 Rookie and 1 Cat B spot to fill. I believe all clubs need to make at least 3 selections in the ND. Only Madgen and Poulter remain unsigned, one of them will have to make way.
The Delisted Player Free Agency Period is in early November. So we'll keep an eye on that if there's any delisted players of interest to look at. But out list is looking pretty choccers. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned!

Watch what Wright does with 16,25 and 27 to get us up the draft order.
Would love to get ahead of pick 7 and steal Jhye from the cats. _________________ "Even when Im old and gray, I wont be able to play but Ill still love the game"

That'd be great.
Any delisted players of interest MJ? Thoughts on Madge/Poulter? _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

I’m still uncertain with the two that don’t have contracts for next year - Madgen and Poulter. Can we keep both or do we have to delist them? |

And we go into 2023 with 4 experienced players
Total of 400 + games between them
Guess we lost a few games out of Grundy & the Browns tho _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right

Just having a look at all clubs draft picks and I reckon our best chance of climbing the board comes with either GWS pick # 19 or Swans pick # 17.
Both have a decent wait after those picks, so it might be they do a split to spread the risk. We can’t move on our futures either because we only have our rounder left. Also the Lions can’t help us with the way their picks have panned out.
As it stands, I reckon we might struggle to improve our current draft hand by much, if at all. |

Chugg was a rookie, so isn’t it 4 in and 5 out? To use picks 16, 25, 27 - doesn’t that mean both poulter and Magden must be gone? |
