FFS, bring on Saturday, I'm over it, the fkn blatant lies in election ads shouldn't be legal. I won't be hanging around for another 3 years of Dandrews, Victoria deserves much better but at the moment the options are slim.
If Dandrews doesn't lose his seat, best case is a parliament stacked with independent fruit loops that block his every move and frustrates the shit out of him. The state is $%$ed whatever happens, back to the days of Cain and Kirner. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Timothy Dragan last week railed against Aboriginal recognition, climate change, abortion and senior Liberal MP Brad Battin, who he described as a “prick”. |
That should help them win the election. Everyone loves a stable candidate.
Pardon me for asking - but in what sense is he using the word "we"? |

Speaking of lies in election ads, I see Labor are going after the Greens again with the same cynical smear tactics as last time. The ALP are an awful party filled to the brim with nasty people – that is, the ones who haven’t had all life and personality drained from them – but I still hope they win because the Liberals are so much worse. Some kind of balance-of-power situation in both houses would be ideal. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

Depends on who has the balance of power.
Both major parties appear to be as bad as each other.
And so many nufties with only one policy running.
There may be some good people that end up in parliament but they will get lost amongst all the dross. _________________ If you are foolish enough to be contented, don't show it, but just grumble with the rest. - Jerome K Jerome |

Definitely. Can't help but feel that accountability/negotiation of any kind would be better than none, but who that is will make a big difference. Hopefully some sensible people get in one way or another. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

Yet unfortunately instead of sensible people we’ll probably get more Greens. |

I've got Labor dropping a maximum of 11 seats (including re-distributed seats that are now nominally Labor). This includes Northcote to the Greens and potentially Melton to an Independent. This will leave them on 45. The Libs are currently un-electable, but at least this would make it a contest next time around which is critical as far as I'm concerned. |

The Libs are basically unelectable, but the choice is 3 more years of Andrews and the pendulum seems to be swinging away from Labor.
Labor is still in the box seat but I keep eding comparisons between Kennet and Andrews and how arrogance turned the tide. See what hppens. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |
