I've read all previous 17 pages too.
I probably need to go find the grundy trade thread too, I said on there a lot a better clearance mid was worth more to us than Grundy |

Great reading, have to remember though some people were simply upset at losing Grundy and have criticised Mitchell and McStay all year because of it.
Ended up being brilliant recruiting all round by the club last year, filled every gap. Injury stopped us finding out if McStay was the dream recruit, but he got us here before getting injured last week so all paid off.
Mitchell and Hill the 2 cheapest pickups were huge and whilst Frampton was terrible, he filled the structural need and kept Andrews out of the contest barring some soft free kicks. |

Strong words from Mitchell :
“I feel as though everyone’s been pretty keen to write me off throughout my whole career. I feel like I’ve proven them wrong again today – apparently, I’m not in the best 22.
“Everyone wants to kick you when you’re down, and that’s the culture we live in, unfortunately. When you have an off game, it’s the end of the world. You don’t buy into the hysteria outside the footy club – you do hear bits of it, obviously, but, to be honest, it didn’t distract me ... I’m just happy to play my small part for the team.
“We’re the most connected team I’ve ever been a part of, so I’m just proud to be a part of it. I’m so lucky that Fly and Wrighty got me to the club, and they’ve just embraced me with open arms, and given me the belief in myself, when other clubs haven’t wanted me, so it feels pretty good.” |

Sure Framo was terrible but for a hail mary pick having to step up on short notice in the grannie I think he did fantastically well to keep Andrews quiet. |

Totally; we struck immediate premiership pay-dirt with these two missing link players.

Close to BOG in my opinion. |
100% at the bottom of the dung heap all day.
He could have Normied, and nobody would have objected at all. _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |
