The point is it was a bump ,Cripps went to bump and not to contest the ball
. Cripps should have paid a price for his decision

It was a legal technicality, not an AFL conspiracy.

In truth, The history of the last 25 years might suggest that the AFL hates Carlton because it knows that that club always tries to out itself above the rules that apply to others (salary caps etc). This is just another example. They have arrogant, cheating blood.

I suspect it’ll be a case study in how Carlton administrations win battle and lose the war.
