Sir, those are fighting words; you have offended me Sir, and I demand satisfaction!

And furthermore, I shall remove the leather glove from my hand, and strike you abruptly across the face with it, not once, not twice, but thrice!

And in other news, Dees have made the changes below to their squad:
Umpires: Andrew Stephens (12), Robert Findlay (23), Simon Meredith (21)

😂😂

Look, I don't mind umpire Simon Meredith. At least he is handsome.

Cool any tips on any late changes I feel Howe could be due to soreness

And this is probably why Kelly is named as an emergency.

A good looking umpire? Isn’t that an oxymoron? Or is it a foxy moron? 😆

^ So, when the stats for the last time we played Melbourne record that Adams had 20 disposals (9 kicks, 11 handballs) and 4 clearances, that would be mistaken?

yeah, existence of May in their line up makes a big difference compared with
QB game.
We need to ensure that we don't bomb at random into F50.
However, I love our Forward line, with the dynamic mixture of talls (Cox at times, Cameron at times, Johnson, checkers) with an armada of smalls, Jamie, Ginni, Beau, and JDG, Carmichael, etc to swing through. We don't have power forwards, but we have instead a kaleidoscope of forward options that keep changing through rotations.
May and Lever are programmed to intercept bombs inside F50.
Are they programmed against the kaleidoscopic chaos we can bring in F50?
We just need to ensure that we kick into F50 in an intelligent manner, and avoid at all costs long bombs.

One day someone will run onto the field and assault a maggot, in the hub-bub many will follow, I’ve seen soccer games where it’s happened.

^^^^

I hope that I never live to see this day. Umpires are humans, make mistakes leading to bad decisions but they are not corrupt or dodgy in any way. Footy is an emotional game and we supporters are rightly passionate. However let’s hope that no one uses gutter tactics and assaults an umpire. That will be an act lower than a snakes vagina and the deed of a brainless feral fool. Umpires however frustrating must be respected at all times for doing a hard job keeping up with all the rule changes and flavour of the month frees concocted on the run by a panicked AFL after something blows up and they feel the need to cover their arse. But assaulting umpires is the pits and if ever it happens, the assailants must be jailed for a few years.

Langdon says the Magpies are “a bit of a one-trick pony” and are “all duck, no dinner” in the way they play.

Was Langdon making a sneaking reference to Ginnivan??
Happy for him to speak in this manner.

Happy for them to think they will win easily and underestimate us. Gives us more chance to screw them over.

IF I was Fly, I could not resist printing his words of denigration of our team up in large letters, on a whiteboard, pre game, in the dressing rooms, fire up our boys even more. Langdon has a big mouth, and revenge is a dish best served cold, as he may well find out I bet Goodwin is not happy he made these ludicrous comments about us, can do Melbourne no good at all . ! Surprised

I’m sure Fly will be all over this and go to town coaching the boys to make them pay for the pretty dumb comments. Don’t know about all duck and no dinner but they won’t know where to duck when the Collingwood machine roars into gear. Extra incentive to win is always a handy bonus. Go ‘Pies!

We once had a VFL player, Bourke, who did that. He got rubbed out for 10 yrs. Sad

Looks like it's a wet night. Worthwhile dropping a tall forward option for a small?

Eg: Johnson for C.Brown or Bianco?

Remember Slug Jordan commentating

"He give him one too. He's done well the boy" after decking the bloke in the crowd while running off the Lakeside Oval.
