Can De Goey be trusted with all those theme parks up there? _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

Probably not, no - but they'll probably take him anyway, unless Chugg has a big week at training. |

We are getting close! Win this one and we are in the box seat for a run at the finals, lose and we are back in the pack _________________ "You hate a mean man, a grasping man, a man who wants everything and gives nothing. That’s Collingwood. They are a law unto themselves"

I think Nick Daicos might get a rest this week. He’s been fantastic, but I saw a couple of things yesterday that tell me he needs a rest and be back the week after.
How good is he!!?? _________________ Beware the swooping Magpie. |

Looking forward to this week and how we welcome back JDG into the team. From what Fly suggested at the presser he is hopeful that JDG will want to play this week. Getting him back in could well be another galvanising process for the team. _________________ Free Julian Assange!!

Yeah, he is incredible. Amazing for a first year player.
If we decide to rest him, Trey Ruscoe would be a good replacement next week. _________________ Free Julian Assange!!

If you'll allow me to dredge up the past....
In 2013/2014 we experienced small consecutive losses to GCS at Metricon, at the hands of Ablett jnr.
We steadied the ship at Metricon in 2015 [the last AFL game I actually attended], and have only disgraced ourselves against them in 2021 at MCG, whilst the final nails were being driven into Buckley's coffin.
The Suns ain't getting kicked off the park each week anymore, so I wouldn't go dreaming of the elusive percentage builder this saturday either.
Outscoring them by perhaps a goal or so each quarter, will be a satisfactory result, all things considered. Win each quarter and the result should take care of itself; keep things simple and stick to fundamentals.
Rain has been forecast here on Gold Coast all weekend, so I might suggest reverting to the game style of slogging the pill forward, which served us well against Fremantle some weeks back, as opposed to the wet weather trash we dished up against both Whorethorn, and GWS...
This contest will be far from any walk in the park some of you might be hoping for.
JDG must be available for selection, to ensure this occurs.
Oh, and kick straight at goal FFS! _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

Feeling much better about this match now the GWS game is out of the way. Suns will probably go in slight favourites, but we're at least a 50% chance of taking them out – and with the run we have ahead, we can almost treat it as a free hit. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

Really? I doubt they would be favourites. And I reckon we are more than 50% chance of taking them out, even at Metricon.
But don't mind if we are not favoured to win. We always play well as the underdog. _________________ Free Julian Assange!!
