Whilst in Australia they go into high paying private gigs from whatever companies they've helped along the way Wink

With all the waffle about who's wealthy and who isn't ramble, I thought I'd digress a little.

I recently changed employer. Negotiated a healthy salary and was very attracted by the additional salary package benefits.

12% super.

Top hospital/extras cover for the family. I was even able to add the youngest to the policy and she's can remain on the policy until age 30... she was stoked.

Salary sacrifice vehicle lease.

Salary sacrifice (max $5k/pa) to purchase shares in the company, which is matched by the company.

$1000 worth of company shares at xmas.

Quarterly production bonuses.

The skills shortage is hugely evident in WA at the moment, especially in the mining sector. With the lack of up and coming skilled people, this is only going to worsen and push wages (and personal income tax) even higher.
