In the same way that A Nightmare On Elm Street is the most important film in history.

It’s clearly going to be Neville Jetta in a few weeks.

Left field. In days gone by, the most important position was CHF (Hart, Kernahan, Carey et al). Our most expensive player (Brody Grundy) should be played there and trained/mentored whatever it takes to learn how to take a contested mark.

Anybody can perform adequately in the ruck. At the moment we lack a genuine target in the key forward spot. Get paid a squillion dollars play in the hardest position. No criticism of Brody. He tries his heart out.

Ask yourself: when was the last time we looked really good? We had two big key forwards in Cloke and Dawes. That is 10 years ago….

I agree. At least Grundy should spend more time as a key forward, with stints in the ruck.

Lipinski vs Cats 23 touches @ 78% 4 tackles 1 goal (85% time on ground)

Lipinski vs WCE 21 touches @ 90% 6 tackles (77% TOG)

Lipinski vs Lions 22 touches @ 78% 3 tackles (72% TOG)

Hardly touched it is plainly wrong. His touches are generally class. Excellent 2 way runner.

If he had of played with us in the last 2 years, he would of averaged 45 sideways and backwards touches a game at 100% efficiency.

Degoey for me.
Might please a few if he’s traded, not me, but wholeheartedly he’s the only player who will pay us back in trade value. God knows how we missed the boat with Sidebottom for example a few years back but that’s one of many terrible decisions the old footy department will be known for.
But another very important player for us this year will be Taylor Adams. He’s trade value may also help significantly for our greater good.

Hardly call 22 touches doing nothing. Quiet early but finished really strong.
