Glad to hear you are feeling better Jo. Sounds like you had a really bad dose.
Hopefully hubby is better soon.

I know a few people who had not previously had Covid and have had it in the last month or so.

I caught it just before prelim final (caught it from hubby), 2nd time for me and took longer to recover. Mine was mainly a head cold and swollen nasal passages. Turned into a sinus infection. Still occasionally feels like I am coming down with a cold, especially if I am a bit tired.

Someone mentioned that people are presenting with hay fever like symptons in this wave. That was what hubby and I had plus the person who initially tested positive at his workplace.

With the RATs, mine lit up straight away both times. No having to wait for 15 minutes. Did a follow up RAT to check I was negative only because I had things on - like a Grand final - and didn't want to infect people I was with.

Tag teams with Covid seem to be a popular happening! My wife got it first and gave it to me 🙄 I also know others who had the same experience.

But i wont let him out the bedroom ensuite area! he said he will go to the beach house tomorrow. make my life easier!

Just saw this now. Sorry to hear you've been going through this, Jo.

Be patient and allow yourselves plenty of rest to recover.

Haha you might as well do the invoices when sick. No point wasting healthy time on bookwork, although invoices are a joy compared to bills and taxes!

How's Mr. TP coming along?

I lost my brother recently after he caught COVID in hospital. He had a stroke caused by blood clots caused by COVID. He was 64 and vaccinated with an underlying health issue that was manageable. Needless to say I’m devastated. Please take care of yourselves

Thanks for your thoughts, he got sick with a respiratory disease in September and was advised not to get excited, so had to banish himself from watching the finals live, and was thrilled with the Premiership. Somehow it seemed like the best one we could remember. We cried on the train back to Victoria Park in 1970. He was a lovely man, had a lot of pure bad luck in his life and wasn’t bitter and twisted. He and his partner were together for nearly 40 years and told each other every day how much they loved each other. RIP
