Jordan Roughead injured his shoulder at training last Friday. Apparently he'll miss the first month of the season. That's a big loss to our structure.
Does anybody know or bother to tell us? Check our pathetic website and you'll find.....nothing, zilch....oh, there's news about sale of merchandise and if you're interested in AFLW, well then you've come to the right place.
I'm sick of this rubbish! Our new president wants to increase our membership to 100,000. I have a radical suggestion. How about generating some excitement, some anticipation...it's just a thought, silly I know...kinda too left field....
At least Eddie engendered enthusiasm. |

| Gee, it's not any big deal either. We're fielding a young team this year. We're grooming 2-3 players to take over the key defensive posts in the longer term, including Charlie Dean. They get their opportunity earlier than planned. Roughead should be back by the second half of the season with the team expecting to be settled in by then under our new coach. Roughead's absence in the first half of the season could actually turn out to be a blessing. |
