As a believer in the science of Probability, I disagree with you. We have suffered so relentlessly with pre season injuries that I feel it’s about bloody time we had a break from this unlucky situation and trust that we can select a close to full strength team for the first round. My catch phrase for everything going smoothly at the club will be “About Bloody Time” 🎢🧗‍♂️☘️☘️

We've jst been gotton used to it i guess.

Always happens to us.

For example Nick Daicos does an ACL at training this week lets say if it happens it will happen at Collingwood.

Sets the tone for the rest of the season things like this maybe thats the reason why the last 10 years were crap.

The injuries are long term too.

Collingwood defender Jordan Roughead has had shoulder surgery that is expected to sideline him through the earliest rounds of the upcoming season.

Roughead underwent an arthroscope yesterday morning for an on-going issue with his right shoulder.

“Jordan has been managing the shoulder for some time but it reached a point where surgery was required,” Collingwood GM of Football, Graham Wright, said.

“The expectation is that he will be out of the selection frame for eight weeks or so, which could see him available by rounds five or six. We’re certainly hopeful of that.”

What gets at me is that this has been an issue for quite a while, and now, on the cusp of the season, they decide to put him under the knife. Not good enough!

Like to see an over haul of Collingwood player injuries and medical and rehabilitation department I think we need one and one soon too much mismanagement in this area we don’t seam to have a plan we have at least 6-7 players with on going issues in terms of injuries Sidebottom Adams Pendlebury Howe is a start it’s never ending it’s a niggle then a flair up then surgery then no footy for long time

Then the club still has 5 weeks to prepare for the opening rounds without him.
Disappointing but it’s a contact sport. Time to move on.
