Some people were critical of Bruzz and Lippi for their perceived drop in form later in the season and now we know the reason why

As a supporter, it is hard not to be down on the selectors or players when we expect perfection from our players but unfortunately we do not have the inside knowledge of the players, possible injuries and team roles/goals

I think that we just have to trust the football staff at Collingwood to act in the best interest of the club. Despite my frustration at times, I understand that they have much more knowledge than I do and that they share my determination to win

You can't but wonder what long term effects it has on the body having so many surgeries over a football career.

So many young men going in for what is considered routine surgery at the end of each season, playing with injury and pain through the season.

They deserve every cent they get paid.

It would explain why Lipinski’s defensive tackles were a little underwhelming the second half of the season, that’s for sure.
