No Mihocek this morning - also Maynard seemed troubled by the groin strain that occurred against the Dockers, and left the track early.

Did ask a trainer regarding Michocek they said he’s was in the gym working on a few things asked if he would come out on the ground they said no as he just had his program to work on.
Maynard light jogging around the ground asked why he was coming off same reply needed to work on his individual programs in the gym

Maybe we'll go back to just the listing injured players in a locked thread next year. This thread gets fkn stupid at times.

FYI, my Friend attended a smash on the Monash not long ago. Two Collingwood players (not confirmed) in a Grand Cherokee. Air Bags deployed in a serious accident. They are OK and were on their way to the airport.

Was always wanting to know how players get to the airport and to like to the game.

I thought they had a team bus to pick them up at thier homes like a courtesy bus service to save the stress on driving.

Hope they are ok.

Ok, here's how we end the season;

Tom Wilson (Back). There was talk of him playing in the VFL again had the team progressed further. Had amped up his training during the final few weeks. If not delisted, will be right to go for the pre-season.

Harvey Harrison (Hamstring). Another who will be ready to go once the break is over. The VFL GF is today, I wonder if he would be playing had the Pies made it? He missed 5 weeks, but is back to full training.

Reef McInnes (Shoulder). Has returned to contact training and will be able to have an uninterrupted pre-season.

Charlie Dean (Foot). Is able to run and do minor training drills. Will have a slightly interrupted pre-season. But will be a-ok by the new year.

Brodie Grundy (Ankle). If he isn't traded, he'll be ready to fully train by the time the players break is over.

Taylor Adams (Groin). This one is troubling. Adams will have an highly interrupted pre-season. Yes, he should be fit to play by the time round 1 rolls around, but he'll have some work to do to catch up to the fitness levels of the rest of the playing group.

From last nights match, Mason Cox was subbed out, but nothing major has been reported.

In short, Wilson, Harrison and McInnes are just about ready to go now. Dean and Grundy will be a little further off, but just about ready to go once the pre-season amps up. And Adams is in for an interrupted pre-season, but should be ok by the time practice games start to happen around late Feb.

Mods, please unstick/lock the thread.

Thought Good idea to have a thread on off season surgery and injury updates
All I know this week Maynard and lipinski had successfull surgery on Wednesday yesterday and are 3 months away from training
Was on their shoulders
And Pendlebury having his usual knee clean up
Thinking the others are rehabbing

Yep Bruzz and Lipinski shoulder surgery ✔️

Does that rule them out to not enter pre season till early 2023 ???
