Kicking off on the 27th @ Minute Maid Park in Houston Texas.
Astros will have the home advantage after winning more games during the regular season. Although, there's no real advantage as they only play the extra game at home if it goes to the 7th game.

The Astros with only one WS title (2017) to their name, were runners up in 2019.
The Braves have 3 (1914, 1957 & 1995) and will be making their 1st WS appearance since losing in a clean sweep by the Yankees in 1999.

The Astros are favourites @ $1.65 with the Braves @ $2.20.

Having put $20 on the Astros in May, @ 16/1, I will put $100 on the Braves and wait to collect either, $320 or $220 at the completion. Cool

Astros - $1.80

Game 2 starts shortly.
Astros are $1.80 to level the series, Braves @ $1.95.

This is a must win for the Astros before heading to Atlanta for the next 3 games.

She's a hit fest today!

Astros lead 2 - 1, with 1 out bottom of the 2nd, runners on 1st & 2nd.

Astros 7 - 2 top of the 8th.

And that's the final score. Series tied 1 - 1.

Rest day tomorrow before the next 3 games in Atlanta.
Braves have won 9 of their last 10 home games. Astros have only won 4 of their last 10 away.

Interestingly, the Astros have an excellent record @ Truist Park, winning 7 of the last 8 games played there.

Latest WS winner market.

Astros - $1.68
Braves - $2.20

Yes, backed 'em at $2.20 as a saver. Best result for me is Astros.
Didn't back them earlier, was going to but didn't think they'd get over LA.
