Victorian Lucas Herbert has picked up his first PGA Tour win at the Bermuda Championship, booking himself a berth at the Masters.

In wild and wooly conditions that saw tee times brought forward to avoid play interruptions at Port Royal, Herbert closed with four pars on the final six holes to card 69, holding off fast-finishing Patrick Reed and Danny Lee by a stroke.

Not sure of the current exchange rate but he pocketed US$1.17m for the win.

Around $1.5 mill in Oz dollars.

Nice collect, but he seemed more impressed by his subsequent qualification for the US Masters.
