Chicago Blackhawks sexual assault allegations

This story is very sad and just unbelievable in the saddest of ways.

There's been an investigation into the Chicago Blackhawks over allegations that a then-assistant coach sexually assaulted two players back in 2010 after an unnamed former player filed a lawsuit accusing the NHL team of ignoring that he and a teammate were sexually assaulted by a Blackhawks member of staff.

The Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup in 2010 with these players and coach a part of that team.

Another former player has since come out and said almost every player and coach on the 2010 team was aware of the allegations of sexual misconduct.

This is just unreal to think about. Since the investigation has become a media storm, the president and general manager of the Chicago Blackhawks, Stan Bowman has stepped down. And the former Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville has resigned as the head coach of the Florida Panthers. Florida are currently undefeated and the league leaders in the early stages of a new season.
