Why? I don't understand.
I've never done it, never taken a photo of it let alone sent it to someone and I don't get what motivates people who do?
Can anyone explain what motivates blokes to send Dick Pics to random people they hardly or don't know?
On the flipped side, has anyone ever received one and if so, how did you feel about it?

My theory is that guys generally like receiving nudes and mistakenly think women are the same.

I remember reading something about this a while ago that provided a pretty good explanation of the psychology behind it: basically, men see the way women's bodies (and specifically body parts) are lusted over and commodified, and deep down wish that women would feel the same way about their bodies. So, as Bucks5 suggests above, many of these men are feeling aroused and hope that these images will have the goal of provoking a similar response of desire from the woman they're texting, but in the majority of cases the woman receiving the text isn't on the same page at all – and so it just comes across as something obscene and unwanted.
Having said that, this isn't always unsolicited; some women might ask for such pictures from an existing romantic or sexual partner, or a guy they're flirting with, and I get the feeling that on gay dating apps some guys might find even unsolicited pics welcome. But I otherwise can't fathom why some men think that the women they're texting would respond positively to this, unless of course they know full well they won't and the sexual harassment is part of the excitement. I guess, as with anything, there's a spectrum of motivations.

You are asking for big trouble. And it's shocking how often it happens. Chances are your daughter, your sister, your girlfriend, your wife have been sent one or been shown one that was sent to a friend.

Yeah, but nudes are one thing, close ups of the meat rocket are another. There has to be some level of delusion that makes blokes think that if they send a pic of their Angry Anderson Action figure to a random woman, she's going to get all horny and moist for it.
