What do you use?

Back in the early 70's I think, there was a dietary scare campaign that butter was bad for you and people switched to margarine. My mum was one, grew up on a farm as a kid with fresh home made butter, I grew up with margarine as that was all she bought. That seems to have changed and many people, including me, have gone back to butter.

What do you do?

To me it depends on what you are eating. But butter is best and compulsory for hot pancakes, hot scones and baked/roasted spuds 😝 Yummmm…..!!

Nope! Vegemite, jam, nutella etc. just go straight on the bread/toast for me. I do occasionally do cream cheese on a bagel, but otherwise haven't had butter since very early childhood – never really liked the taste or texture of it.

Apparently it signifies that I'm a psychopath and should be incarcerated for the good of society. Good thing I killed them before they got the chance to tell anyone!

And that was a good response. Laughing

What about the dipping of crusty bread into the EVOO, either straight or with some Balsamic Vinegar bixed in?

Margarine.

The milky smell/taste of butter makes me want to vomit.

I don't do plain milk (unless mixed with a tonne of chocolate quik) or cream (unless whipped with sugar) for the same reason.
