Not much we didn’t know from players arriving/leaving. But!!!

He was asked about Craig Lambert from Giants coming to fill spots open at the club
“Hey that’s a new one. Don’t know where that came from
NO ! That won’t be happening “

Said Mr Wright

Looks like we won't be adding any other assistant coaches but will replace Carroll as a development coach.

If we're not chasing anyone else other than for development then I assume that leaves Skipworth, Selwood or Sanderson. Unless they're promoting Craig Black.

Just got off https://www.collingwoodfc.com.au/teams/afl/coaches , Skipworth is listed as a line coach.

To be retained I thought, they just hadn't decided his role. Have to wonder what his contract status is.

Surely Selwood could help with the mids. If Sando is near the forwards it will be yet another year of a dysfunctional forward line.

The information on the Club's website lists the coach and three assistant coaches: Leppitsch, Bolton and Skipworth: https://www.collingwoodfc.com.au/teams/afl/coaches

Sanderson has certainly gone: https://www.collingwoodfc.com.au/news/1011968/collingwood-farewell-harvey-and-sanderson

From that article it says about Sando.

“We are still chatting with ‘Sando’ about the future but he has stepped down as an assistant coach. Over his time with us he took responsibility for the mid-field, the forwards and, late this season, the backs.

“He is an outstanding football person who continues to educate and challenge himself and I expect him to remain in the AFL system whether that be with us or elsewhere.

No he hasn’t ‘certainly’ gone but his future either with Collingwood or elsewhere is undecided at the moment.
