Our back half is stronger than our front. I’d give Howe another chance up front. _________________ Four legged animals good, two legged animals better |

Well if it was ever going to happen, it would happen under a new coach. |

There is still so much to play out, so obviously the best time to wax lyrical over best 22s is after the rookie drafts and PSD, as opposed to before the G F has yet to be played. Still, it’s a starting point and the VFL team looks reasonably strong and with a lot of promise. That’s where the pressure comes from if you want to get the best out of your senior players.
I think it’s an exciting list, not necessarily a top eight team in 2022 but still exciting and with heaps of upside. Bring it on.
PS - Not sure Naish would see his future as warming the bench in the VFL though, just as I doubt we would look to recruit anyone to fill that role either. You can’t trade them all in. |

Big call putting in Johnson ahead of Kelly _________________ Manassa is on the 50m, fakes the handball. He's going to shoot for goal, and he's put it through! HE'S PUT IT THROUGH. By golly what an individual effort. Thats got to be the GOAL OF THE CENTURY. |

McRae won't go sideways or backwards from here, he'll be in the senior team for the next 8-10 years. _________________ Billy Picken, the great No. 25 in the sky! |

Naish wouldn't start there, it's more a reflection of his speculative nature, and names on a sheet haven't meant anything since the 90's
I kept to players we've previously chased or offered contracts to and considering our new coach would know Naish inside and out I took a punt on him. I don't think we'll get him or Stengle but they're free and in areas of need _________________ Moore De Goey

Bit speculative when you consider how many injuries we may have by then. |
