Do what they did to Swanston Street, but on a city-wide scale, I guess – roads become traversible by trams, buses and bikes only. I don’t think it’s inconceivable that that’s how most cities will look in 100 years.

That's fine in a high density CBD, but wont wok in outer suberbs let alone in rural settings.
Petrol and deisel engines are on the way out but I'd be backing Hydrogen over batteries.

It's going to be fun to have intermittent energy sources like solar and wind, without any reliable base load power in the equation.
I guess we can pat ourselves on the back say we "saved the planet" while China continues to build new coal fire powered stations.

In the mess at work the other day. One of the blokes greets a South African workmate with "Whada ya know".... The South African, very defensively responded " What do I know about what??!!".
You had to be there I guess, but it made me chuckle.

That’s funny.
I remember a Sri Lankan person who had just arrived at Melbourne airport being asked “How are you going?”. He innocently replied “my cousin is picking me up in his car” 😀😃🤪
