Which teams would we like to play and where round 1 2022.

Venue: MCG
Saturday afternoon 210pm start or 115pm start
Opponent/s: Out of dogs, dees, hawks or even an interstate team like west coast, brisbane or sydney swans. Would like to play hawks for a change.

not too sure on the dates at a guess last saturday in march or first saturday in april.

I feel the afl season will start a week or 2 later in 2022.

Pretty sure Carlton have a recurrent opening round commitment locked in against Richmond so that'd be unlikely

We've had the doggies 1st up the last couple so wouldn't mind that again. Prefer Friday or Saturday night games.

Don't care... Carlton will play Richmond and won't the grand finalists have a rematch?

My wish would be for a win but I would settle for a competitive 4 quarter performance against a decent opponent, and no injuries

Aren’t we typically lined up against the Dogs each Round 1 nowadays?
Hope so. We will get them while their premiership hangover is still smarting. 😀

For the rest of the season, how many games against others in the bottom six are we supposed to get in the current system? Is it 3 or 4? I’m not counting on it, I expect the afl to shaft us somehow.

Collingwood vs North Melbourne (with new coach Nathan Buckley).

Saturday 5pm West Australian time (where the game will most likely be played).

It might be the Dogs.

If I had a choice... hmm.. Freo at the MCG.

Bit sick of playing the Dogs in round 1.

They've pushed for it more than us over the years because they see the obvious commercial benefits.

I disagree.
Collingwood vs Carlton (with new coach Nathan Buckley)
Friday night at the G, with or without a crowd.
Bux to give a pre-game presser, and to let Craig know that there is no way Carlton will be nutted at the clearances.

I'll be hoping that for most rounds in 2022!
