He took a saving speccy as well that was completely out of character in the dying moments, talk about lifting yourself and those around you
The much maligned Leon Davis saved us as well, he barely touched it in that first GF but he broke our 46 minute goal drought with an individual act of pure brilliance

Maxwell was fantastic in the 2010 draw and as impressive as Voss in 2002. last half of a quarter. the sad thing is they all taslk about how unluckly the rapist was but it was a bad bounce that evaded the leading Ben Johnson who had Thomas free on a wing and only would haved led to a shot in our forward line.

100% correct. I was 2nd level behind the goals - end where Milne bounce happened. few things.
1. Johono lead Milne to the footy and got a freak bounce around him first. Did everything right and had Milne beat.
2. That Mark Maxwell did against type lead to our next goal that put us back in front after saints had all the momentum.
3. It wasnt just the Mark - he went back with composure and kicked the ball to a target wide. This was inline with how we played and was not what we were doing with Saints were coming.
