I agree tap outs are overrated. So much effort expended jumping into one another, pushing and shoving each other all night, for so little return. I would like to see Grundy ruck rove next week and lynch ruck. What is there to lose giving this a try. |
Don't think there's much to lose. Wins and losses at this time really don't matter. But he's no ruck rover. It's a total myth that Grundy is an "extra mid". |
the problem is simply that a talented ruck man is wasted when he is rucking to Muppets. Her was amazing in 2018 when we had a good team. if Grundy rucked to the tigers midfield of a couple of years ago, they would have piled on 5 goals in bursts with the other side not even touching the ball!! Dustin Martin would have kicked a goal from stoppage almost every time the ball went forward!!!!

Long before Grundy signed on the dotted line I mentioned he played with blinkers on, (played his own game that resembled total lack of game/team sense) and was singled out again.
Now he’s on elitist money he deserves to be put under the microscope.
