Murphy is a massive tease... but has been terrible. Can't believe we have picked him.

Noble has been a great player this year.
It will be interesting to see how he polls in the copeland.
He will pick up votes in the brownlow
He made 2 bad mistakes last week.
But Grundy made more.

Any chance you can give the Grundy bashing a break???

I doubt Noble would ever go to Norf so long as his dad is coaching.
Conflict of interest there

Noble out - only taken 21 weeks Confused

Look forward to seeing the ball trapped inside Brisbane's F50 for at least 80% of game time.

Exactly who is going to generate the run from defence, if Maynard has to sit on Cameron all night?

Yep, Noble is the fastest player by far on a very slow list.

It's hard for defenders. Any mistake can cost a goal.

As I said it’s a big call with Howe on family leave and Quaynor with a real illness to take Little Johnny out——surely he’d be in if possible

He has been in good form

This is a very winnable game. WC have been putrid in Melbourne.

Perhaps this should read "We" have been putrid in Melbourne?!

"We" should welcome any games being played interstate this year, as we seem to be a fighting chance away from the MCG! Laughing

This game in Tassie is a very losable game.

Hey you were right on the money about the Weasels form and lack of application away from Perth. ...

This game in Brissy is also a very losable game.

(Even though Brissy have had big problems since Hipwood did his knee.)

We’ve all got our Murphy theories. Personally, I don’t think he plays that differently to Chris Mayne who cops a lot of criticism from some.
He doesn’t get a lot of the ball ( Mayne gets more ) and he has no creativity in his play. He’s not a long penetrating kick but he is safe and too courageous for his own good.
He’s remains a canvas but we won’t know until next year under a new coach whether he’s got improvement in him or whether he’s reached his ceiling.
Physically, I reckon you would either prefer him a fraction shorter but a yard quicker or a couple inches taller at the same pace.

He plays a little taller than Chris Mayne but both compete for a similar spot in the senior side. The difference is Chris Mayne predominately played as a pressure forward where he was capable of kicking a couple of goals a game. Murphy has never shown he can kick goals, even at VFL level. Maybe that’ll change. You never know what can happen under a new coach. At the moment his best position is playing on the half back line. Wing is a possibility for him if he can find the pace.

I just hope we are competitive this week; we haven't been kicked off the park yet, and I'm hanging our hat on that, although after last week I'm thinking the wheels might fall off now.

Dropping Noble after he busts his arse for us every week; what a disgrace.
