Rhys Mathieson.
Victorian, 187cm, 24yo contested ball winning mid that can also kick a goal. Recruited by the Lions with pick 39 in 2015. 54 games experience as of last night. I've heard there's a bit of frustration from his camp. Is he struggling to stay in the Lions lineup? Played for the Geelong Falcons in the TAC Cup.

Is he someone that could turn it around at a new club? If so, what would the deal cost us? Just an idea.
EDIT: Just realised he is an unrestricted free agent. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned!

The self proclaimed "barometer"? No way. Can't kick, is second only to Joel Selwood for ducking and is just not that good. _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |

We will not trade in anyone this season. We will still give away some players dirt cheap this trade period. _________________ The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after. |

I'll throw a couple of names around:
Brayden Fiorini [GCS], I think we'll get him for nothing come seasons end.
Lewis Taylor [Pink ducks], can't see him commanding a spot as a small forward ahead of those other blokes; going there was a very optimistic move on his behalf. He would be much better suited to our list, and a reliable kick. _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

I don't think Brisbane would offload him. They love him up here. However a straight swap for C Brown would be an ideal out come. |

Blakely from Freo could be gettable as inside mid depth, if we could get him for nothing. |

Mathieson is Acker without the talent, no thanks.
Fiorini has been mentioned as a trade target for years, Suns must be hanging onto to him so some reason _________________ "You hate a mean man, a grasping man, a man who wants everything and gives nothing. That’s Collingwood. They are a law unto themselves"

He's an unrestricted free agent, so no trade. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

What about George Hewett from Sydney? Inside midfielder thats sure to leave.
Swans tried to trade him last year and couldnt get it done. As a free agent, is he someone that could come over without taking too much out of the cap?
Looking at his 2019 stats, you'd have to say yes. However, a back injury stuffed up his 2020 and he is so far having a quiet 2021.
185cm, 25 years old, South Australian, Inside mid (Swans playing him in a defensive role this year).
