G'day Nicksters, bored on the holidays? Well download Nicks BB Collingwood Crossword Puzzle no.1 (& maybe the last - answers next week).
It's far from interactive, you'll need to print this off. Hopefully this format works.

I downloaded it on my Samsung tablet, opened it in Write on pdf and can do it on screen using my tablet pen.
Looks good.

I'm enjoying it, got about half done, but could you please check the spelling for 20 down and 14 across? I think 1 has 1 too many boxes and 1 has 1 too few.

20 is surname only.
14 is surname only, has one box too many.
The player I refereced played his first senior game for Collingwood, at Victoria Park, against Carlton, on 17 May 1913.
In 1914 he was working as a clerk, but he enlisted in Melbourne on 22 August 1914; the same day that he played his last match for Collingwood.
He was the first Collingwood footballer to enlist.
He was killed (aged 24) at Cape Helles in Ottoman Turkey during the initial invasion of the Gallipoli peninsula by the forces of the First AIF (Australian Imperial Force) on 25 April 1915.
On further research, our earliest player to die while in service, was Samuel Cleland Campbell, who played 1 game in 1910.
He was not playing for Collingwood at the time of his service.
He died (aged 27) of illness (influenza), in British Sierra Leone, while on active service in World War I, 21 October 1918.
