Collingwood reportedly going to throw ex Crow Stengle a lifeline in the MSD.

He was number one on my hit list.

Small forward, crumber, knows where the goals are. Exactly what we need (hopefully he can leave his baggage behind and make a genuine fist of his second or even third chance at Pieland).

All his past sins will be attributed to us and then links to Didak. Heath Shaw and John Wren.

I know.... lets go for 2 ex basketball players who havent played a single game of footy and can jump really high and reach the ball at its highest point
and then dont know what to do with it because their brain is wired to slam dunk the footy onto the umpires head. Then high five every player bc he is special.

They won't be in the Mid-Season Draft Prospects

They are Cat-B Prospects

Stengle sounds like a good choice. I’m in favour.

Another Collingwood 6'er - yeah big fat pass and not because of his lack of height.

No disrespect to Buzza, but he is not really for us. He's a back up or complimentary role type player.

We need core players. Pick kids that are longer term prospects. Most likely to be afl standard core players. Building blocks for a contending team.

There isn't really a position in our squad that isn't available. So best available kids.

I should add after a Covid year, there must be under exposed kids passed over from last year ND.

There was a bit of interest in Callow at the ND, any chance for us in the mid season?

Interesting that Corey Gault isn’t on there yet. The only former Pie I can see is Ben Crocker.

With a few of those regarded as sure fire selections - Jacob Edwards and Stengle included, I'd imagine they will wait until the deadline to nominate to get all their ducks in a row on where they'll be heading. Edwards would be weighing up if he wants to play for North or defer to the ND (where he'll be a 1st rounder) and Stengle would probably be in discussion with a number of clubs working out where he'd like to play and what his options are before nominating.
