I will take that in a heartbeat, this was Norths Final, against us, they would have been primed to cause an upset. De Goey finally delivers the goods, thank heavens for that.! A win is a win, there are no easy games now, ever. Maybe get some players back, and might cause a few upsets, though i cant see us playing Finals, realistically. Just keep playing the kids, get games into all of em. Thank God for that , a win, now for a whiskey or two.!

Good not to lose is what this game was. The effort was as good as this team is capable of but the performance level was still very ordinary. We would have lost to any other team today, only North is worse than us and that must be very depressing for their fans.

Not much to get excited about. Cameron looked ok, taking a few strong marks. DeGoey kicked 6, but did it with minimal effort, not sure what to make of that. I just couldn't get into this game at all, it just didn't feel good at any stage. Keene looked ok in the air. Mcreery didn't see it. Grundy just cannot take a contested mark to save himself, he really does not play like a big man. Most of the kids had a go but are no way near ready. Just keep playing the kids is all we can do and hopefully they will improve. Sidey is just about done, slow in body and snail pace in mind.

How are we going to win another game? Do we play North again?

I’ll take a win any day of the week. Doesn’t matter how we do it. We however urgently need to find another key forward to help out De Goey and Mihocek. Kelly and/or McMahon need to be developed if we’re going to beat anyone of note. Thank goodness we had Maynard and Moore down back today.

You can only play against the opposition that is out there.

We beat them. Well done to the coaches and players. Credit where it is due.
