I’m sorry but if this performance right now isn’t an excuse to play youngsters then I don’t know what is. If we’re so hard on protecting premiership points and producing this, we’re mental.

The players are making a massive statement tonight that they don’t want Buckley as coach.
The laziest performance against a depleted opposition in a very very long time.

Hi all - haven't posted for a while but will say this. One of the most severe criticisms you can make of a team is they play without heart or belief. Such is Collingwood's plight at present.
They may win this game but the need for change is obvious.  |

I see this comment from time to time and it does my head in. I don’t care if they don’t like the coach, they put on that Magpie jumper, they should be playing like it’s their last game. Stop giving highly paid footballers excuses. I don’t want anyone in the team who don’t play to their best, regardless of the coach. This is Collingwood, not Carlton.

Especially the lack of pressure from forwards to stop the ball getting out. A couple of them just jogging after their opponents. |
