Agree BB. i have likewise expressed my exasperation with our selection decisions. But as you say, our team is today what it is, and a win today is ultimately the only thing that matters. It would be just what we need after last week's wrenching disappointment.Wishing Beau McCreery a great debut, Grundy to entomb the Big Mummy, and WHE to light up the G with a stunning return to form, silencing all his critics. _________________ Free Julian Assange!!

I watched highlights of 2020 SANFL finals which Sth Adelaide Panthers featured in
Beau played a mid sized fwd (he’s 6ft in the old) and not at KFP
That said he appeared from what I saw reads game well and an ability to find that space when players getting ball fwd look for and some of his tackles were brutal

You just watch him hanging off, bumping and roughing up Grundy and at every stoppage. It's guaranteed. |
Sorry, but Mumford is Grundy's bitch imo.
I recall Grundy's very first game for us, as a 19 or 20 yr old ruckman. He was up against Mumford, then at the Swans. Mumford tried to wrestle/tackle Grundy on the boundary line, only for Grundy to use his black belt martial arts skills to land Mumford on his arse. That was the moment I knew Grundy would be a great player. |

Either way, just watch the tactics. Then watch how Grundy will be pinged for any infringement, no matter how small. Happens all the time. |

It’s 9 free kicks to 1, Grundy’s way, across their last 2 matches. |

And then watch how their starting midfield will stand alongside our mids at every stoppage. It’s what you do when you are about to cop a belting in the ruck.
The lions did it and the Giants should do it too. It will be the second / third possession out of the stoppages that will determine how we fare on the night.
If the quick slick hands are on, then we’re at least on the way. Kicking straight always helps too. |

Agreed. Grundy has destroyed Mumford nearly every time. Only reason Mumford played in that prelim was cos it was wet and miserable, and his a sniper. Same conditions as tonight... _________________ Est. 2002 |

This old fart is a thug, has retired so many times, and this mob bring back this lout to try an bash up Grundy, just a thug creep. Despite the wet, we need to make a statement toniight, a big statement, we owe these bastards, havent won last 3 games, we really owe them. Woods by 28 points, in wet conditions, for mine. Last chance saloon for WHE and Thomas, this is it for them both tonight, must show some definite form, its a must for them both. Go Woods ! _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

No excuses. This is a must win game and one we should be winning.
The changes are uninspiring, but I wish McCreery well on debut. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

Can't wait to see how many goals Darcy Moore is able to prevent tonight
Should be a real spectacle for my kids
I'm letting them mark their footy records everytime Moore gets a golden fist!!
Boy are they excited.. _________________ “You can’t head down to Smith St and buy confidence, can you? There’s no confidence shop.” |
