Beau McCreery (calf) to miss game against Geelong.

Josh Thomas and Cal Brown are listed as tests.

There might be some very happy supporters if C Brown And Thomas don’t get up for this weeks game.

Watch the massive turnout if they’re not playing…..haha

That's unfortunate for Beau and the team. He seems to be a very determined
young bloke though, so hopefully a break from playing won't stop his growing momentum.

At least McCreery's injury isn't serious.

Will be exciting once we see him and Elliott in the same team.

For sure!
Billy has done a superb job with his rehabilitation. He's shown on the CFC website running and kicking. Amazing recovery.

If you look closely, Thomas and Brown are listed as testes, or in other world, bollocks.

Your happy if a Collingwood player is injured?

Sadly for some supporters, yes.

Cal Brown passed his test, but Thomas did not. Tyler Brown has a shoulder injury and Adams has soreness in his knee. Perhaps we brought him back too early?

Now the teams are out, here we are: (Unofficially)

T. Brown - Shoulder (TBA)
J. Thomas - Ankle (1 Week)
Elliott - Lower Leg (1 Week)
McCreery - Calf (1 Week)
Cox - Larynx (1-2 Weeks)
McInnes - Ankle (7-9 Weeks)
Howe - Hamstring (8 Weeks)
Greenwood - Concussion (TBA)

Weird to think that we could get up to 5 players back next week. (6 if Levi gets up).

(Is it possible there's been a mix up with Cal/Ty Brown?)

We need to know how bad Tay's injury is. Priority is to know when he will be back.
But fantastic news re Jamie Elliott! I am really looking forward to see how Jamie and Beau will combine in our F50.

...except that Elliott is "injury prone" and that may spoil the show.
Last year a few injury prone players left the club.
We now still have Elliott and Howe, the high flyers, unless they have a change of luck.

Elliott & McCreery can both tackle fiercely and that is what we need on the fwd line. Let's hope we get a good period with the two together.

Jamie has not really been injury prone over the recent past. His broken leg was not a soft tissue injury, but was an injury due to unfortunate impact. I am really pumped about seeing him return to the team. Just hope that we don't rush him though. It would be criminally negligent to do so. When he is cherry ripe, let's sit back and enjoy the Beau and Jamie show.

I never said that I was happy about them getting injured.
“There might be some very happy supporters” does not suggest that there either will be or that I am happy about it.

Adams himself indicated he was likely to be a week to week proposition ( paraphrasing ) until the decision is made to put him totally out to pasture.
I think it will be about how well he pulls up from one week to the next.
I’m not buying into the “ they brought him back to early “ criticism.
You only come back too early when you don’t get a touch, not when you get 29 of them.

Let's see if he misses more than one week.

Buckley claimed a player fell across his knee in the Port game.
