I took some photos of a tiny Magpie dive bombing a sea eagle on Thursday, he didn’t quit, he kept going back, if we play like that I’ll take it. Let’s just show a certain SuperCoach that we have potential! _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

Win this for Clarko ! Woods by 14 points, Howe and Maynard to take ageing hacks Kennedy and Darling to the cleaners, this one is very doable. ! Go Woods ! _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

aww your too kind!
i was actually a long way from them, i went down a dirt track when i saw the sun going down, and got distracted when the sea eagles flew over my head, i was very excited!!! , hurriedly put my 100-400mm lens on my camera and i didnt even change the settings, i had an op on the tendons of my hand 3 weeks ago and im still struggling with strength, and its a heavy combo! the first is the eagle going over me, then i put the 1.4 xtender on and suddenly saw the magpie (through the view finder, couldnt see it with naked eye!!) so i just started shooting!! im sad i didnt get better shots but twilight, and everything else, at least they are sharp!! last one is full zoom but uncropped (zoom cropped sensor + 1.4 x 400 = 896mm
cheers xx _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

Great photos. Look would love a win. The Eagles are just one of those teams i really enjoy seeing losing...they just feel like a very arrogant side to me.
Anyway, I think the Eagles have too much to play for today. West Coast by 25.
But again, win lose or draw. Would love to see the pies play like they have been. Take the corridor, play on at all costs and play with some flare and freedom.
I can live with a loss if the effort is being shown. _________________ "To know nothing of events before your birth, is to forever remain a child" - Cicero (Roman Lawyer/Senator) 46 BCE. |

Great photos TP - reminds me of a time I saw a Crow having a go at a Wedge tailed eagle. He was attacking from above and behind like this Magpie.
On one attack the eagle spun upside down with his talons right in the face of the Crow. Needless to say the Crow took off and didn't bother attacking again. _________________ I think therefore I think - I think

Wonderful photos TP. That eagle is magnificent. Great courage from the little magpie.
No doubt it has a nest nearby that it is protecting. |
