KKR 9/165 (20 overs).

Shubman Gil and Venkatesh Iyer both hit 50s but the rest capitulated, under scoreboard pressure.

Shardul Thakur took 3/38 and Josh Hazlewood, 2/29.

"Australia's pace ace (Hazlewood) claimed two wickets – and had two others dropped off his bowling – in economical spell as Chennai Super Kings downed Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL final.

Chennai Super Kings won their fourth IPL title with a comprehensive defeat of Kolkata Knight Riders in the final in Dubai on Friday.

Josh Hazlewood took the key wickets of Sunil Narine and Eoin Morgan as Super Kings won by 27 runs.

Hazlewood, who finished with 2-29 off his four overs, said: "It's awesome to be a part of it"
