We could do a North a Do quite a Big Clean Out.

Like:

- Josh Thomas
- Nathan Murphy
- Madgen
- Keane
- Tohill
- Sier
- Cox

Only the last 2 for mine. Perhaps Irish lad won’t come back.

It would be a smaller list ‘players you definitely want to keep’.
It would be interesting to hear what the prospective coaches are peddling. We have finished 17th, we literally have no draft picks, and our stars are getting old and not performing for their salary. The young players we have played this year, some look okay, but the majority will not be A graders.

Should have traded Sier when he had currency. Not much now. Keane won’t come back. Murphy is a keeper.

I would consider taking any trade for Grundy that accepted 100% of his salary. Third, fourth round pick - whatever. As long as it involved his whole salary being shifted. Nothing about Grundy is showing me a positive influence on or off the ground.

Sier and Cox need to be moved on.

I would keep Thomas, but with the understanding he should be a depth player in the coming year ahead.

Grundy is a financial noose around our neck. Get rid of him and our financial obligations to him or suffer the consequences of enormous pain of being a battling club for many years, with only Grundy being happy playing for the treasure chest while the others endure constant defeats.

I just don't know why Sier wasn't given any chance to prove himself?? I guess, if it was because he was not putting in any effort, then yes, he should be moved on. I guess we will never know the story there.

I figure that there wont be too many delistings - perhaps the bare minimum? Likely we will only take a couple in the draft, so any other spots will have to be opened up from trades.

Agree that Cox and Sier seem to have 'peaked' at their time in the black and white. Are these two uncontracted?

I actually think JT has had an ok season, but we seem to have an abundance of pressure/small forwards in the squad - are we better trying to get games into the next crop rather than him? I suspect the reality is we cant actually play 22 kids under 23 every week "for the future" so maybe he stays.

I’m guessing he’s enjoying the lifestyle and it’s clear now he will never put in that extra work required to be a premiership player. Honestly, if we’d traded him a year or two ago to Essendon when they were interested, we would have beaten them yesterday

WHE
Sidebottom
Noble

should all be added to the list - very disappointing from these 3 this season.

Why would you get rid of Noble.
He is on minimum money.
He gets the ball a lot.
He runs and carries it a lot.
He does make some clangers.
But he is value for money.
Watch the copeland ....he will score ok.

Sidey and Noble stay. Sidey has a role, but we need players who can fill the other roles he’s having to plug — he’s having to be a Buckley right now, play three or four spots at once. We’re not getting his best because of that. WHE is 50/50, dunno what happened to him, is it a case of playing for the lifestyle? The Brown boys might be off. Honestly, Ginnivan and Bianco show more than Callum, and Tyler hasn’t impressed me but might need another year with a solid season.

Including Noble in that list is just stupidity. The crap he and Magden get on this site is a perfect example of why 'fans' should be kept as far away from list management as possible.
