As a dark skinned migrant to Australia, I totally agree with you. There is no logic to this assertion. I have worked as an advocate for years in Bendigo and never witnessed any case that could have been termed migrant crime. However I have never ever called it white crime either although in sheer numbers, this far outweighs the crimes committed by non white people. Why bring bloody ethnicity, religion or colour into this? Why not simply call it what it is, crime 🙄
To me Americans are bloody obsessed with skin colour. I find it despicable that in 95% of American movies, they never show a mixed couple, even in background scenes. Invariably a black person always seems to be with a black partner or vice versa. It seems to be a sub conscious thing. In Australia I have seen many dark skinned people like me marry non dark skinned women. In fact I have done it twice and so has my brother, and so have many cousins and relatives. This obsession with skin colour is disgusting. I love Quainor, Ash, Hill etc for being Collingwood champions, not because they are non white 😡

^It is called identity politics. The Democrats are obsessed with it. It has nothing to do with defending the rights of immigrants, African American workers, or any other section of the working class.
The advocates of identity politics (gender, ethnicity etc) are aiming purely for a redistribution of wealth among the 10% most affluent layers of society. They could not care less about working class women, or immigrant workers, or Afro-American workers.
They are the "pseudo left" - pretend to be "progressive" and "left wing", but simply aspire to seize more wealth for themselves by masquerading as advocates for the rights of women, immigrants, etc

The Democrats have lost their social base in the working class. Biden has enacted so many anti-working class poilcies in his tenure that he is revideld by wide sections of the US population
The strategy of the Democrats is to try to accumulate votes by pretending that they defend the rights of ethnic minorities, different gender identificatin, etc
But this is not working because:
a) Biden is adopting the very same xenophobic policies on the southern US border as Trump
b) The so called "socialiats" int he Democrats ( AOC, Sanders etc) have not opposed Biden on his support for genocide in Gaza at any time. Millions of people are seeing through this charade. The pseudo left Democrats will not escape judgement for their role in attempting to cover up the genocidal polices of Bieden
The very same processes are playing out here in Australia as well. The Albanese government recently attemted to rearrest asylum seekers who were had been legally released.
Fomenting divisions on the working class based on ethnicity, citizeship etc has long been a strategy of the capitatlist class. It can only be opposed by adopting a socialist perspective. This means refusing to recognise the legitimacy of national borders, and recognising the right of workers to live in any country that they choose.

^But of course, dividing the world into the 'working class', 'capitalist class' and 'the elites' is not identity politics. It's a 'scientific analysis of society', or whatever cringeworthy nonsense you called it recently.

And there you are still using the term 'genocide', even though it means Levantines killing themselves. In one ear and out the other, without pause for thought, let alone research commensurate with the claim.

And I love the contortions: the 'capitalists' who far less racist according to data 'foment' racism, even though thats only one segment of politicised business in some states and industries. Or is okay to mislead people because 'classes' all deserve to be tarred with the same brush?

Do you even hear yourself speak or read the decades of criticism of this stuff, let alone notice your non-sequiturs? You make no more sense than Trump with his drooling nonsense. This hash of cringeworthy terminology discarded decades ago for its violent steamrolling of human difference is not only embarrassing, it's grotesquely unethical.

Luckily, 98% of people recognise this rubbish as loopy, but please, have some ethical responsibility and at least be up with contemporary research and analysis before offering instruction to other based on this guff; even high school students are taught to pay respect to a cross-section ofcresearch and ideas. Your evidence and argumentation are as rigorous and effortful as that of the very worst, unhinged religion, while every single professional I know, 'capitalist' or otherwise, goes to far greater lengths to be careful with their claims.

But of course they're just 'capitalists', and no amount of effort, expertise, ethical responsibility and accountability can make up for that affliction.

<Subsequent posts about Israeli military campaign in Gaza moved to relevant thread. Thanks, BBMods.>

Trump has a measured dig at Krudd and everyone goes off. Laughing
To be fair to Trump, he was asked about Krudd in an interview with the prefice that he had said some nasty things about the Donald (which is true, but they were fairly accurate comments)
Trump responded by saying he doesn't know much about Krudd, but he's been told that he could be nasty (true) and wasn't the brightest bulb (also true) and that if he becomes POTUS again, AND Krudd is hostile, he won't be in his job very long.
Of course the context doesn't get reported, just that Trump thinks Krudd is a nasty halfwit and will kick him out if elected. Laughing
The even funnier part is that Trumps description of Krudd, is equally applicable to Trump himself.

Democrats are doing everything they can to prevent the emergence of any third party candidates.
The US media is reporting that the Democrats are planning an "all-out war" against any candidates external to the Democrats or Republicans. According to these same reports, the Democrats are preparing an "army of lawyers" and a "state by state counter-insurgency plan" to prevent any third party from contesting the ballot.
They claim, of course, that this is the only way to prevent votes leaking away from them, and thereby allowing a Trump victory.
Yet Biden has done all he can to ensure that the Republican party remained intact by declaring soon after the Jan 6 coup attempt that the US "needs a strong Repbublican party", and since then has repeatedly adopted the very same policies of trump (the latest being Biden;s attempt to outflank Trump from the right by adopting immigration policies just as right wing as those of Trump).
The Democrats and Republicans alike cannot tolerate any third party challenge to their political duopoly because both parties are completely hostile to the interests of the broad population
Biden offers: genocide and nuclear war
Trump offers: fascist dictatorship, and likewise nuclear war.
That is why no candidate outside the orbit of the two capitalist parties can be tolerated.
The US is fast approaching the same democratic levels as those of Putin in Russia.
