If I had to pick 3 young guns, that we havent seen much of, Im picking Nathan Murphy, Tom Wilson and Will Kelly as the ones I have good gut feels about.

Looking forward to seeing:

No injuries.

Accountable footy.

Common sense on and off field.

No off field dramas.

Ruthless on field. Sort of white line fever.

Anyone of those three would be an upgrade the club is counting on to surpass a WHE me thinks.

Live football i hope.

Do we have to pre-purchase our tickets though at this stage, even with a season ticket we cannot rock up to the ground on the day yet?

I was thinking of seeing Rd1 given Treloar will have a point to proof.

I look forward to seeing our new coach unveiled. Won't be much interest before then.

You are such a s_d s_ck eddiesmith😄 Love to have you next to me in a war bunker situation 😳😩 Your crying will attract the enemy to shut you up😆🤪

Well given you're plan of attack is to keep trying the same thing that's failed for 9 straight years, I'm not sure you'd be much use in a war either Wink

By your metric virtually ALL coaches have failed in the last 9 years.

By any sesnsible analysis - 3 finals, 2 TOP 4, a GF and PF in the last 3 years, is a record the majority of Coaches would envy.

Sorry. This off topic. But hard to get excited about 6 first round draft picks being converted to one first round pick.

It will take near a decade to recover.

I'd find more enjoyable things to get excited about - results of first round picks is not even on the radar for the vast majority.

No doubt at all. I’m really dying to see Stevo & Treloar Don the Black & White in 2021.
Got a feeling I’m gonna be disappointed though...

After the big headline "news" today, re that report leaked by Robbo in the HUN, maybe just a year when racism and Collingwood are not interwinded by the media, and kept alive by the media. Lets get back to playing the great game of Football.

That’s a very thoughtful post, though I disagree hugely about Stevo. But I’m bloody impressed to see an example of Collingwood people supporting each other & offering encouragement despite fundamental disagreement on footy matters.
Not unlike what we came to expect from the original Presti, a helluva good team man.

I too am finding 2021 a tough one to get excited about although I’m hugely upbeat about the kids we picked up.
But I hope I’m able to emulate the example Presti has offered.
We WILL disagree about footy matters, but we seem to agree that footy matters. To all of us.
Why would we get so damned upset at each other otherwise?
We should consider the idea that getting upset about the game is a big part of the reason boards like this exist. What’s the point of an argument if we don’t care about the subject? And though I disagree hugely with a lot of the views expressed here, I really don’t doubt the passion of those I disagree with.
I’ll try to remember that in 21.
