Cool great to see Nike on board they are a nice brand and professional and slick i like it and their stuff is top notch too.
Interesting they did not go to Adidas as i feel they are more collingwood but happy with Nike.
The good old Nike tick of approval. |

I take ISC wasn't good enough for the Pies anymore.
I didn't mind their stuff, much better than Star Athletic who were poor very poor quality. _________________ Social club member 7342 since 2000. |

Exactly, Didak.
Nike is a transnational corporation that derives its profits from the starvation wages it pays to its workforce in its cheap labour platforms in Asia, South America and Egypt.
The fact that Nike is our sponsor is actually disgusting, but no more so than the sponsorship of every other club in the AFL, which is of exactly the same nature. But no one should suggest that having Nike as a sponsor is somehow something to be welcomed. _________________ Free Julian Assange!!

Same here, but I think ISC have pretty much left AFL, they are still doing some NRL clubs but have changed their model which probably didn't suit the Pies or other AFL teams. |

The workers in those countries are under payed by our standards but within their own countries are actually better off than most.
If a Nike factory worker was on an Australian award, they would be earning more than doctors in their respective countries. _________________ - Side By Side - |

Always preferred Adidas.
Nike and ISC are on par for me with Star Athletic being the worst. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

The Nike stuff from the late 90's/early 2000's was really good quality but after North, Richmond and Port went to other brands leaving only Carlton with Nike the quality went downhill. Probably wasn't helped that the relationship between Carlton and Nike was by all accounts pretty tense in the latter years of their arrangement. _________________ Magpie Jumper Gallery:
