Nice work . More than just a duck.
So in terms of making a “ long “ term contribution to the club, we’re really looking at players with an 8 or 9 after their name.
There’s a bit out there. If money has been put aside, I would be very surprised if we don’t nab someone of quality from the above list.
The new reduced cap might also make it the year when we don’t have as much competition for their services either.
Only around 300 more sleeps. |

The way things are, I doubt any players are going to haggle with their respective clubs for a higher wage.
The only hope we have got of enticing ANY of the players listed, is if they are involuntarily squeezed out of their caps.
Again, NO player with any self respect, would want to come to us, after what transpired at 2020 trade period. We have poisoned the water.

So 'potentially' there will be some real guns available for free agency come the end of next year.
From the whispers I've heard we're obviously into 'someone' and have cleared the desks to make room. Speculation is that we're most likely are already sounding it out with said player/players - But who?

Mate, 95% of this type of speculation is bullshit. The other 5% is only occasionally correct. Unrealistic expectations only set you up for disappointment.

I tend to agree. Those four are all players who make a serious difference on field when they’re fit. They’re leaders too and you want someone to fill the Pendlebury void in a year or two. It would be a big financial commitment but that’s where the game is at.
There’s going to be a lot of speculation over the next nine months 🙄 |
