Stumps, Day 3.

Pakistan trail by 354 runs.

Whoa. Kyle Jamieson has 11 wickets - and there are 2 more available.

Pakistan 8/152. Jamieson has 6/40 to go with his first innings 5/69.

Jamieson is playing just his 6th. Test.

Expect to see him rocket up the ICC ratings, after this Test.

From his 5 Tests, before the current one, he has 25 wickets @ 14.44

And it's not like he's getting cheap lower order batsmen. In this Test, he has 10 top 7 scalps.

Jamieson is also handy with the bat. He was 30* in the Caps' first innings, batting at #8, and has a Test batting average of 49.

What you say is bollocks and you should know it.

OTOH I predicted in this forum years ago that Cummins would destroy Smith's defective technique if they were playing on opposite sides.

In November, my prediction was proved correct.

'Losing the plot': Pat Cummins continues Steve Smith's misery in IPL

Brad Hogg:

"Pat Cummins ... made Steve Smith look like a lower-order batsman."

"He had his footwork all over the shop. He was beating him on the outside edge and inside edge."

"Pat Cummins was way too good, way too quick, accurate and Steve Smith didn't have the answers."

You're quite right. He averaged just over 14 against Australia last time around. It was Sri Lanka he had the series-average of 8 against.

Stop being so jealous. Just be grateful at least one person in the world has a Test batting technique, whatever country he represents. There's a risk that Test batting will go extinct and all we'll have is slogathon batting. You seem deluded about that dark reality.

You watch IPL. Did you watch live Cummins fulfill my (easy) prophecy by destroying Smith's defective technique?
