^Given all the convoluted list management guidelines and categories these days you never know. I thought perhaps he could get drafted as a veteran, delisted, category C, unrestricted free agent, rookie or some such shit.

There is a mid year supplementary draft but that would be over two years since he last played footy and then still with no quality preseason to step straight in.It ain’t going to happen with any club at AFL level.
One of the reasons he retired was because his faith put more pressure on him to represent their “ brand “. Unless they have a change of attitude, I don’t see Rance being able to commit to any decent level of footy again. |

Thanks champ. I think we could trade more players to get Rance. I think a few Tigers stars might be looking elsewhere soon. And if they don’t want their brilliant Coach we will take him too. Remember we got one of our greatest ever Coaches Tommy Hafey off them. He inspired generations of Magpie fans and players. We could get Hardwick as well and he would get us a flag I am sure.
