Hazlewood gets Gill nicking off.

Gill reviewed and lost. Clear spot on Hotspot.

That was the highest opening stand of the series.

Slater is baying for more wickets tonight.

cricinfo: "The last instance before today in which the Indian openers had two fifty plus stands away from home in the second and fourth innings of a Test was back in 2006 when Jaffer and Sehwag did so against West Indies."

That's another sign of how flat this pitch is.

Hazlewood gets an LBW decision against Pujara.

But Pujara reviews immediately and wins! Too high! Ball-tracking says it's way over.

Even to the eye, it looked high.

Rohit threw his wicket away.

Ponting says "he hit it beautifully" but in the air straight to Starc.

Rahane won't thank Rohit for that.

Pant promoted up the order, coming in at the fall of the 3rd wicket. So that's one injury question answered.

He has raced to a half century. His first 5 runs were slow, but his next 50 runs came off 33 balls.

But Pant has had his luck. He's been dropped twice off thin edges to the keeper standing up at the stumps.

India are keeping up with the RRR for the win.

100 runs and only one wicket this session.

This is obviously too flat a track. But we already knew that. If it weren't very flat, the Test would not have made it into a fifth day. And Smith only scores runs on flat decks.

Fined $3000. As captain you need to do better. (Which is another reason the former captain should not captain again in the future.)

Hope not, but it's a risk. If Oz get breakthroughs, the tail could fall over in a heap. If Pant keeps going, then it becomes awkward.

It's a very flat pitch. They needed to be wary of that. I always hate early declarations.

If Smith scores runs, it must be a flat pitch, so if they didn't fall for the Myth of Smith, they'd have realized how flat it is.

.....................................................

Slater reckons Oz are "sweating on the new ball", which is not far off. If they can take two wickets with the new ball, then everything else should go to plan.

This pantership pant and parjra will add another 90 runs plus virahri to come in next and ashwin too who can bat.

Jadeja will bat last too and hes a recognised batter coming in at 11.

India will win it cant see aussies getting any wickets on a flat batting track.
