Anyone got plans for New Year's Eve?

A mate from work wants me to met him and his partner at the RSL for drinks during the day but I've been on the wagon for awhile, so I'm tossing up whether to stay on it or "get on the beers"

No plans, but I've been off the wines for over 12 months. Took the punt on Christmas day and had a few. It was ok for one day but happy to keep off it.

We may just go out for dinner, maybe into the city but will depend on the weather.

Just had a big family Xmas so a quiet NYE would be good.

at our beach house, the youngest is coming down, maybe a sister in law, plus might do a short visit to a bogan party at the nearby caravan park! always plenty of fireworks to watch from the balcony!

Now going to a barbie at a friends.

A bit of a hastily organised catch with one group of friends, including a couple visiting from San Diego - they are here to visit daughter studying at Melb Uni, got out of quarantine on Boxing day.

Will be a pretty relaxed affair, everyone brings some food and drink plus they live relatively close to us (10-15 minute drive).

23 year old is going out with mates.

Red headed chick is staying home but her cousin is coming over to watch movies. She said it was too much like hard work to organise to go out this year.

Party at my house as per usual, BBQ for tea, loud music, pool table, and table tennis all in the 30mt x 6mt party shed up the back yard. About 20 people attend. Hopefully in bed at around 3-4am up at 8am to cook eggs and bacon for the idiots that stayed over!

Well party plans have changed a bit, have now got the awful task of contacting some of the people to say sorry can you stay home. Pick the favourites first and cull the rest.
